Privacy statement
We keep as little about you as we can, and only what the site needs to work.
Last updated on September 27, 2026
1.Who processes your data
Joulyan Theorie processes your data. If you want to ask or change something, use the contact page or email us.
2.What we keep
From an account: your name, your email address, the language you read, and a hashed version of your password. Your password itself is stored nowhere.
From your practice: which exams you sat, what you answered, and what you scored.
From a purchase: which package, which amount, when, and the payment reference from Mollie.
From every visit: technical data such as your IP address, which we keep briefly to hold off abuse and spam.
From every visit, anonymously: which page, where the visit came from, the country, the language and the kind of device. Our own statistics service (Umami) counts this without a cookie and without anything that points to you.
If you only take the practice exam, your answers are stored without a name. They belong to nobody.
3.Why we are allowed to
For your account, your package and your results: because otherwise we cannot do what we agreed with you.
For security and holding off abuse: because we have a legitimate interest in it.
For the bookkeeping around a purchase: because the law tells us to keep it.
For counting visits anonymously: because we have a legitimate interest in knowing which pages help and which do not.
4.How long we keep it
Your account and results stay while your account exists. If you ask us to erase it, we remove your name, email and login from the account. Exam records remain under an erased account marker.
Invoices keep the buyer details required for accounting for seven years.
Technical logs stay briefly, a few months at most.
5.Who else sees it
Mollie, for the payment. They see what handling it takes.
Cloudflare, for the check that keeps spam and robots away from our forms.
The party that sends our email, for the messages we send you.
Nobody else. We do not sell your data, we do not trade it, and there is no advertising network on this site.
6.Where your data sits
Our server is in the Netherlands. Your data stays inside the European Union.
7.What you can ask for
You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to how it is used. You may also ask for a copy in a common file format.
Send your request through the contact page. We answer within a month.
If you disagree with how we handle it, you may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
8.Security and changes
Traffic to this site is encrypted. Passwords are stored as hashes, and so are the codes we email. Staff sign in with two steps, and every change in the admin is recorded.
When this statement changes, the new date goes at the top of the page.
